New technology puts unemployed job seekers in front of local job opportunities on a daily basis.

Milwaukee, WI (August 18, 2009) – The Milwaukee Area Workforce Investment Board (MAWIB), along with City of Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, today announced a ‘game-changing’ program for ensuring local unemployed workers have the best chance of being found. MAWIB has implemented the QuietAgent Workforce Edition; a collaborative employment technology that networks twelve MAWIB funded agencies to ensure their job-ready candidates can be easily found and hired by local employers.

MAWIB’s Workforce Network of public and private partners, including Maximus, YWCA, UMOS, Job Service, Hire Center, Milwaukee Urban League, Interfaith Older Adult Programs, UWM Career Transition Center, Racine City Workforce Development Center, Kaiser Group, Policy Studies Inc., and the PACE Program at the Milwaukee Area Technical Colleges will now be able to collaborate and share their job-ready candidates, in order to get more people employed faster, and meet local employer demand.

The QuietAgent Workforce Edition provides a common connection between workforce agencies, their job-ready candidates and local employers. All job-ready candidates across participating agencies reside in one database and can be seen and accessed by any participating agency as well as any local employer.

“The QuietAgent technology enables us to work cooperatively to leverage our current resources so we can meet and anticipate our regional economic needs,” says MAWIB’s Business Service Team Leader, Jerry Roberts.

The real power of QuietAgent is that it seamlessly connects MAWIB’s job-ready candidates to thousands of employers who may not know about MAWIB services, thereby extending the reach MAWIB has to place its job-ready candidates into the community.

“One of the main reasons we went with the QuietAgent technology, is that it continually exposes our job-ready candidates to a growing list of employers who use other QuietAgent services to find and hire candidates,” says Delores Graves, MAWIB’s Business Services Manager. “These employers include the large corporations of AllianceQ such as AT&T, ARAMARK, Staples, 7-Eleven, Best Buy, Bank of America, Office Depot, Sears, Starbucks and many other major corporations, as well as thousands of smaller businesses.”

QuietAgent.com (another of QuietAgent’s services) is a publicly accessible candidate database that employers use to find job candidates. When an employer searches QuietAgent.com they now seamlessly search and are presented MAWIB job-ready candidates in the candidate shortlists.

“Government workforce programs will be truly effective only when unemployed candidates are seamlessly searched and presented to employers during the employer’s normal hiring practice” says Gary Scheier, Director of Government Programs for QuietAgent. “Reaching and engaging employers to use local, state and government funded programs, is a constant battle for workforce organizations. QuietAgent solves that key issue by making the process to search and engage unemployed job-ready candidates easy for employers.”

Since 2004 the QuietAgent Workforce Edition has powered the entire unemployment system for the nation of New Zealand. “Following our success in New Zealand, which for years has sustained unemployment rates that are nearly half that of the US, we are focused on working with forward thinking US government agencies like the MAWIB, to swiftly get people back to work and aggressively cut the unacceptably high US unemployment rates that are causing some much pain in communities” said Curt Witte, CEO of QuietAgent. “With over $500 million in Federal workforce grants available in the next 60 days alone, we are contacting WIBs, States, CBOs and local governments to assist them in accessing these funds.”

####

About the Milwaukee Area Workforce Investment Board
In partnership with local leaders from government, private industry and labor, MAWIB develops workforce solutions that meet and anticipate regional economic development needs. For employers we offer specialized training programs and innovative human resource services to provide the skilled workers they need to remain competitive and contribute to a robust economy. For job seekers, we provide the resources to keep pace with today’s job market.
About QuietAgent

UnitedWeWork.org seeks to eliminate recruitment costs for every employer in the U.S.

CHICAGO (July 13, 2009) – As U.S. unemployment rates near an all time high, unemployed workers need quick and efficient ways to match their skills with open job opportunities. To facilitate the connection between job seekers and employers, AllianceQ today announced the launch of UnitedWeWork.org, a free recruitment service available to employers of all sizes and workers of all levels and skills. Major companies including, 7-Eleven, ADP, Allstate, AT&T, Hewitt Associates, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Office Depot, Sears Holdings, and Starbucks have partnered with AllianceQ to kick off the massive recruitment effort.

The average American has more than 30,000 places to search for work, and American employers spend around $60 billion a year trying to find and hire new employees. According to a survey by the Employment Management Association, the average cost to post an open position, identify the appropriate candidate and fill the position is around $10,000. UnitedWeWork.org will connect employers with job seekers with no recruiting, job posting or advertising fees.

“In this economy we are seeing far more job seekers and far fewer jobs; to the point where some job boards have actually taken to charging job seekers to help them find work.” said Phil Haynes, Director of AllianceQ. “UnitedWeWork.org is the only significant offering to allow companies to save on job posting and search and recruitment fees, as well as give all job seekers an equal chance to be found and hired.”

Companies that join UnitedWeWork.org will have access to advanced matching technologies to generate a “shortlist” of qualified, skilled and interested job seekers that are matched based on skills, competencies and work preferences. Candidates are re-evaluated daily as new jobs are posted.

“As a founding member of AllianceQ, ADP is proud to support the United We Work initiative. This alliance creates access to a no cost, easy-to-use community that connects candidates and companies,” said Benito Cachinero, Corporate Vice President of Human Resources for ADP, Inc., one of the world’s leading providers of business outsourcing solutions to over 585,000 clients.

“The economy has made it very difficult for job seekers to quickly narrow in on companies that have open opportunities,” said Daisy Vanderlinde, Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Office Depot. “Using a recruiting service that is free for employers will help connect qualified candidates with more job opportunities more quickly than a traditional job search.”

Through UnitedWeWork.org, U.S. employers will be able to access a candidate database of people ranging across all experience levels and skill sets. Companies will be able to access the database free for the remainder of 2009. For businesses with fewer than 100 employees, the offer continues through July 2010.

AllianceQ is powered by QuietAgent, a next-generation job matching network. Companies and candidates can visit www.UnitedWeWork.org to learn more.

Eight Fortune 500 companies vie for the last Founding Member slot, and 30 of the limited 80 General Memberships are already under contract

Chicago, IL (December 23, 2008) – AllianceQ today announced that the opportunity to be one of its Founding Members has now closed, with nineteen Fortune 500 companies signed, and eight more lined up to fill the final Founding Member slot by the end of December.

The AllianceQ recruitment collaboration was launched by a group of industry-leading Fortune 500 companies less than six months ago; created to build a shared pool of job candidates and drive down its members’ cost of recruiting.

Initial founding members included Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP), Baxter, Best Buy Co., Inc., Entergy Corporation, FPL Group (Florida Power & Light Company, FPL Energy), Starbucks, and Wachovia Corporation. Since then, the fast growing collaboration has added ARAMARK, AT&T, Bayer, Hewitt and Sears Holdings Corporation as joint founders.

AllianceQ is limited to 100 members, all Fortune 1,000 companies. With the twenty Founding Member slots now gone, just 80 places are available for other leading companies to get involved and drive down their recruitment costs. Thirty of those places are already under contract.

Phil Haynes, Director of AllianceQ, explains that his focus is now on the next step in the organization’s strategy; “the Alliance’s goal is to provide its members with a zero cost recruitment solution for three out of every five jobs by the end of 2009.” He continues, “in the current economic climate, the timing to execute on this strategy and achieve our goal couldn’t be better.”

According to 2006 statistics, US employers are locked in a repetitive spending cycle of close to $8 billion a year to attract candidates for their jobs. Haynes believes that the coming year will “bring about a renewed focus on dramatically reducing costs in this area.”

A new AllianceQ website was launched this week, to provide improved information for potential new members, and a fresh new experience for job seekers.

CHICAGO, IL (July 16, 2008) – AllianceQ today announced it has entered into a strategic
partnership with the National Urban League. The partnership will introduce QuietAgent (the AllianceQ technology)’s ‘continuous recruitment exchange’ model of fairness, equality and diversity in recruiting, to
members and partners of the National Urban League.

QuietAgent’s candidate matching tools have been used since 2004 by employers, recruiters,
governments and workforce and community organizations to pinpoint the best qualified and
mutually interested anonymous candidates.

“The National Urban League is committed to empowering people to attain good jobs,” said
National Urban League President and CEO Marc H. Morial. “We chose to work with AllianceQ because its QuietAgent technology gives every person a chance to be considered, for every single job.”

QuietAgent CEO Jason Kerr explains, “QuietAgent eliminates recruiting bias by keeping
candidate details private and reviewing every person on a level playing field. Every time an
employer or recruiting agent searches for talent, QuietAgent makes sure that no résumé in the
community is ever overlooked.”

More than two million people will be invited to participate in the program through 100+ local
affiliates of the National Urban League. The League is working closely with AllianceQ and
leading American corporations to promote equality in recruiting and maximize opportunities for
diverse professionals and job seekers.

CHICAGO, July 9, 2008 – A group of industry-leading Fortune 500 companies today launched AllianceQ, an organization created to build a free, exclusive and perpetually growing pool of job candidates to drive down its members’ cost of recruiting. Founding members include Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP), Baxter, Best Buy Co., Inc., Entergy Corporation, FPL Group (Florida Power & Light Company, FPL Energy), Starbucks, and Wachovia Corporation.

The technology behind AllianceQ continually matches job candidates to employment vacancies across all Alliance member organizations. The result is that participating companies now have a free way to source new job candidates, and can offer those job candidates they cannot hire, opportunities with other AllianceQ members. The Alliance’s goal is to provide its members with a zero cost recruitment solution for three out of every five jobs.

U.S. employers spend billions of dollars every year in their attempts to reach relevant and qualified candidates. According to Borrell Associates, total recruitment spending is expected to increase from $58 billion in 2008 to $73 billion in 2012. The average cost to obtain an entry-level hire ranges from $3,000 to $6,000 (source: “Making Sense of Recruiting ROI,” Experience.com 2008). For the most part, these investments are not fully utilized and the expenditures to attract job candidates are repeated every year.

AllianceQ was conceived, formed and implemented by QuietAgent (www.quietagent.com) – a third generation recruitment solution – in response to the increasing time, energy and cost corporations often waste while recruiting qualified job seekers.

Jason Kerr, co-chairman of AllianceQ and CEO of QuietAgent, explains, “Collectively, the Fortune 500 is the world’s largest job board. They have all the jobs, they attract the most job candidates, so it just makes sense for them to collaborate resources and help each other save money.”

The founding members of AllianceQ agree.

“Best Buy cares about people and wants them to be excited about bringing their interests and unique talents to work,” said Kristina Parker, director of selection, Best Buy. “Working with AllianceQ ensures that our candidates can be connected to opportunities – inside or outside of Best Buy – that can put their strengths to work.”

“AllianceQ allows us to collaborate with other large corporations to help solve recruiting challenges while offering our candidates a higher level of customer service,” said Janet Manzullo, senior vice president for recruiting, Wachovia Corporation.

“The ‘race-to-talent’ is an issue for corporations of all sizes,” said Peggy Jude, vice president, HR Shared Services, ADP, Inc. “ADP is a worldwide leader in the HR industry and we believe that AllianceQ offers us a unique way to get access to the best candidates in the market today,”
