Sarah Needleman of The Wall Street Journal reports on the launch of AllianceQ, and the brand attraction of household names such as Wachovia and Starbucks, that will drive awareness among job candidates.
“The cache of many AllianceQ members’ household names—such as Wachovia and Starbucks—is projected to entice even more professionals to fill out profiles on the site. “Having this brand-name company draw is a differentiator for them,” says Christa Degnan Manning, an analyst at AMR Research Inc., a Boston-based research firm. “There is a big awareness these days around your company brand.”
